What is the difference between Money and Wealth?

Put at its simplest, Money is what passes through our hands or bank accounts.  
Wealth is having enough money available at any time to meet our needs.

Bear in mind these definitions. We trust these will become clear as we go through what we have to say.

Money & Education  

Many, if not most. people have difficulties of some sort with money.  That is because they don’t fully understand what money is and how it works. And that is because they have never been educated about money.

Some people were fortunate enough to have parents who did understand money and others have an older relative or friend who is able to explain money to them. However, the formal education system has turned a blind eye to the subject, and most teachers are not good at managing money and are afraid of admitting it.

As a result, many people just muddle along with money and try to dismiss the problems it causes them as someone else’s fault.

In this section about money and wealth, we try to put this right by going back to the basis of what money is and what it is for, and then how to use it to your advantage and not to be overwhelmed or oppressed by it.

You may have worked out much of this already for yourself just by having to survive in the money system. However, we hope presenting a simple overview will fill any gaps you have in your understanding. 

We divide the topic of money and wealth into segments so that you can see where you are now and what you need to do to improve your situation, or rejoice in your success.
