Coins, Banknotes, and Botanical Growth

Money is an agreed Medium of Exchange. What does that mean?

It came into existence to replace Barter.  Barter is exchanging goods or services you don’t want for something you do want. However, if you don’t want what the other person has to offer, you might exchange it for a ‘token of value’ that you can then trade with someone else for something you do want.

This exchange is called a transaction. There are billions of transactions going on around the world every day using cards, phones, coins, banknotes, tokens and vouchers, and many other agreed tokens of exchange. Underneath all of these is a basic transaction to exchange value.

The Money Go Round –  Money flows to you and away from you. It is meant to move around. You get it, and you spend it. Everyone does the same.  We all have money flows.  Even a beggar on the street has a flow of money through his or her hands every day.

So if you hear yourself saying I have no money, remember it is not true. What may be true is that you do not have enough flowing to you to meet your current needs.
