May Cheung

I know what it feels like to keep going for everyone else while quietly wondering what has happened to you.

I’ve been the woman running on empty, trying to manage everything while dealing with brain fog, exhaustion and a growing sense of disconnection from my own body. I know how unsettling it can feel when the body you thought you understood suddenly seems unfamiliar. That experience became an important part of my own journey and is one of the reasons I now help women understand what their bodies may be trying to tell them.

My approach isn’t about masking symptoms, ignoring what you’re feeling or simply pushing through. Instead, I look at the bigger picture — including your hormonal health, nervous system, lifestyle and emotional wellbeing — to explore what may be happening beneath the surface.

Drawing on Traditional East Asian Medicine, breathwork and nervous system regulation, I support women in slowing down, reconnecting with their bodies and developing a deeper understanding of themselves through perimenopause, menopause and hormonal change.

For me, this stage of life isn’t simply something to endure. It can also be an opportunity to listen differently, establish healthier boundaries and begin prioritising your own wellbeing.

Your body isn’t failing you. It’s asking to be heard.

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist, Master of Holistic Therapies, MFHT & CNHC Registered Practitioner, Women’s Hormonal Health Specialist, and Founder of Calma Healing Space. I am also the creator of The Sovereign Body Programme™, combining Traditional East Asian Medicine, breathwork, nervous system science and transformational wellbeing.
