Government Giveaway

At a time when our potential savings are being ravaged by inflation and taxation, the British Government is giving a remarkably generous incentive to save which empowers us to get ahead. Governments in many other countries probably offer similar schemes.

In this interview, I talk to Cassie Lewis who is one of those rare breeds of Independent Financial Advisors who are women and living in the real world of school-age children and family life. 

Cassie unpacks the ISA (Individual Savings Account) and explains that it provides a rare opportunity to beat both inflation and taxation and to provide income for our old age.

Cassie Lewis started her career after graduation as a loans officer for a not-for-profit organisation then moved into retail banking – but she was dissatisfied with the level of advice she was permitted to give customers.  She then trained and qualified as a Financial Advisor, specialising in helping women put their finances in order and provide for their future.

She can identify and help with the issues that busy working women have to deal with because she is one herself with school-age children aged 9 and 7.
