Why you may not be getting the Love You Desire No.1

Why you may not be getting the Love You Desire

Why you may not be getting the love you desire could be due to overlooked dynamics in your approach to relationships. In this first video of my series on finding and keeping love in middle life, I explore the key reasons why many struggle to attract or maintain the love they truly want. The insights are as relevant today as they were when I created this series for Valentine’s Day a few years ago.

Struggling to Attract the Relationship You Desire

We start with the number one reason you may not be attracting or keeping the love you desire.

In the video, I share an eye-opening insight: “You may have to be masculine at work, but need to be more feminine at home.” If you want a more masculine man in your life, you need to embrace your feminine energy.

That does not mean being weak. Feminine power is just as strong as masculine power, but it’s different. It’s about balance and understanding how to create a dynamic that fosters connection and love.

Overcoming Barriers to Finding True Love

The concept of balancing energies can feel overwhelming, especially in today’s fast-paced world where traditional roles are constantly evolving. However, understanding how to shift between these energies—from assertive to receptive, or from directive to nurturing—can significantly impact the harmony in your personal relationships.

Many people fall into patterns shaped by societal expectations or workplace habits. For instance, if you’re constantly operating in a masculine, take-charge mode, it might be difficult to transition into a more open and feminine state when at home. Recognizing this shift and practicing it intentionally can pave the way for stronger and more fulfilling connections.

If you’re unsure where to begin, take a moment to reflect on your relationship dynamics. Are you bringing the same energy into your personal life that you use in professional settings? Consider how small changes—such as listening more, offering support, or showing vulnerability—might help cultivate deeper intimacy.

By embracing your feminine power, you’re not just enhancing your relationships, but also reclaiming a vital part of yourself. This approach is not about conforming to outdated stereotypes but rediscovering the unique strengths that femininity offers.
