Is the new Midlife Woman an idea that is sweeping the world because her time has come?

Last week I was asked to do an educational slot talk to a networking group of Business Women. As I prepared it I found it grew into a significant message about the advancing role of women in our society, particularly led by Midlife Women.

In 15 years, this term has come from nowhere to popular culture.
Are midlife women a formidable force able to change our society for the better?
